Hello, its 9/11

I was in Davao City attending a national conference organized by the Foundation for the Philippine Environment, when the event that is now known among many others as 9/11 happened.  Since it was an NGO-activity, there where six of us billeted in the hotel room.  We were watching something on cable around 9 pm when we saw a “breaking news” story.  And that was 9/11.  That single, tragic event signalled a new era of change in the whole world.  And I could only utter, in fear o.whattalife!
